  Sadly each time I have been there, they are almost rude and it seems like an effort to help. Products are well priced and a great selection but customer service needs a tune up.

  I went here to buy a walking stick because my knee was acting up, and I planned to do some hiking. I was served by a polite and helpful young man and chose the perfect collapsible stick for me. This is a large store and I can't imagine needing any outdoor products they could not supply.

  Great friendly knowledgeable staff. I just moved from Saskatchewan and had been recommended by friends from Comox and Campbell River that I had to see this store, well it is true, if you are an outdoor enthusiast you must stop in and have a chat. They have a great selection of firearms, camping and fishing gear. Their prices on a specific lever action Marlin was several hundred dollars less than the same rifle in Saskatchewan! Make sure you stop in and meet the friendly staff. I dealt with Kevin and he was able to advise me about the local hunting and fishing, as well as point me in the direction of a Stanfields wool 'Island Tuxedo'. Thanks again River Sportsman
